All good moving companies will be more than happy to come round and provide a free quote. While they’re there, have a chat with them. Make a cup of tea and ask questions about the company, and about them. This way you can get a feel for their professionalism and work ethic. Once your happy with them as people, then number one takes care of itself.

3.  Price is NOT the most important factor

Never go with the cheapest when it comes to moving companies.

Ask yourself why they’re cheap… are they unreliable? Using older trucks and equipment? Inexperienced? If they’re cheap to hire, then they’re probably not paying their staff very much. Underpaid staff don’t care as much; for your valuables or your time.
