Our friendly and enthusiastic furniture removals team have moved over 5,000 properties in the last 10 years!

Suburban Metro Relocations is a family business founded by General Manager, Graeme Fatialofa.


Graeme has 25 years’ experience in furniture relocations, and first learned the trade from helping his beloved uncle. Ten years ago he started Suburban Metro Relocations, and today Graeme and his wife Carolyn run the business with a committed team of staff – and with input from the couple’s three daughters, who’ve grown up in and around the business.

Meet the Team


Graeme Fatialofa

General Manger

Graeme oversees operations and the day to day running of the business. He is passionate about the old fashioned customer service and likes to get out and meet clients face to face. 

When not working in the business you will find Graeme hands on with guiding and encouraging his three girls in where their pursuits lie. This guiding and encouraging flows down through the business culture to the team where growth of each person is important.


Carolyn Fatialofa

Office Manager

Carolyn oversees the business direction and ensures that systems are in place to give the best customer service experience to our clients. Her strong leadership skills are invaluable in leading the business into the future.

Outside of business, family is Carolyn’s focus and you will find her at all of her three girls events whatever and wherever they may be. Work life balance is something that Carolyn is passionate about and brings this into the business culture as well.



Team Leader

Krima has been with SMR since they started.

A key member of the team Krima leads by example with ensuring that our clients needs are met and they are happy with their overall move.

Nothing is ever too much for Krima and his team.

Going that extra mile for the client is part of the service.

Bice has been with SMR for 3 years and is a key member of the team.

Having the client feel comfortable with the team in their home is important to Bice.

Being responsible for the client’s household items is also important.

From greeting you at your door and introducing the team Bice will ensure that you are happy with your move.
